And for dessert, Miss Stephanie serves up a special treat from home...a litter box cake she said her kitties made especially for us! Even though it looked pretty yucky, it tasted so good that everyone ate at least two helpings.
Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee began when we all went to the pumpkin patch for our future jack-o-lanterns. There were so many pumpkins of all sizes to choose from.
Some kids finished selecting their pumpkins so quickly, they were able to play in the pumpkin patch.
Once everyone made it back to the library, Miss Kimberly started us off with some pumpkin songs.

Then after a performance of "The Pumpkin in the Jar," King Kyle "Reads-a-lot" told some spooky ghost jokes.
There were also stories told by witches. Miss Brenda tell the story of "The Bumpy Little Pumpkin" with some help from the audience.
