Everyone throughly enjoyed the dramatic readings from Twain's stoires and novels and all the fun information about superstitions from that era.

Two excited patrons show off the great Big Read tee shirt and tote bag doorprizes.

The first program in March was the most eagerly anticipated...The Big Read in the Cave at the Anniston Museum of Natural History sponsored by all the public libraries of Calhoun County.

The evening started with a guided tour of the museum.

The kids were allowed to stop and explore all the great exhibits in NatureSpace, the musuem's hands on discovery room.

In the middle of the tour, they stopped for a cool live animal exhibit.

Ms. Morey brought out several animals, including a possum and a king snake, for everyone to get an up close look at.

Then the tour continued into the museum's realistic Alabama cave exhibit.
