The attendees of the 11th annual American Girl program. This year, we were spotlighting Samantha and the Victorian Era.
Miss Barbara welcomed us all to the program, and showed off some staples of a Victorian lady's wardrobe...fancy hats and parasols!
After Miss Kimberly told us some interesting information about Samantha's world, she introduced our traditional entertainment, the barbershop quartet.

It was fun listening to oldies like "Hello My Baby" and "Goodnight Ladies."
While they sang "Bicycle Built for Two," we got to see a bicycle built for 2 in action.

Kimberly & Dale sure seem to have a knack for the tandem bike!

We also learned about another form of transportation that started gaining popularity then, the automobile! We were able to learn some interesting facts before getting a chance to see an antique Ford.
After the program, we got to everyone's favorite part...the door prizes!

It was so much fun and we all can't wait until next year.
