The Summer Reading Program is open to all ages and participation is easy – all you need is a library card! Everyone will need to have their own library card, and there is no age limit to sign up.
To sign up for the Summer Reading Program, bring your library card (and a parent or guardian if you are under 18) to the main desk beginning on May 28th to get started.
We’ve got lots of great events for all ages scheduled this summer, including Lunch Munch Movies most Wednesdays at noon, Story Times most Thursdays at 10am, and some fantastic friday entertainments with Didgeridoo Down Under, Bill Packard Magic Man, the Nashville Science Guys, Mark Seymour, Alabama Ballet, and the Montgomery Zoo!
We’ve got some events just for teens and adults to enjoy too! Adults can enjoy events like Dolores Hydock's "Every Picture Tells a Story", Jewelry Art w/ Stretch Cord Bracelets, Backyard Luminaries, and Sherry Blanton's Artists and Gardening! Just for teens ages 13 & up this year, we have Blacklight Painting, and a Teen/Adult Art Jumble! As always, we’ll have an Escape Room on Saturday, June 21st and Tuesday, June 24th for teens and adults to test their mystery solving skills; space is limited so contact the library starting June 4th to sign up.
Check out our calendar for the full list of events, or pick up a calendar at the library.
